ZES ZIMMER at the 13th Oberursel Apprenticeship Exhibition

Last Friday, March 14, 2025, the annual and now 13th Oberursel Apprenticeship Exhibition took place, and of course, we at ZES ZIMMER participated. As a local company for over 40 years and a long-standing qualified training company recognized by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK), our employees Beate Lohmann, Slawomir Tyrna, and Janina Jordan were delighted to introduce our company and training opportunities to eager and interested students and their parents.

Our employees warmly welcomed every exchange and provided information about our company and the career prospects we offer through our apprenticeship programs. They also provided informational materials along with promotional gifts for visitors to take home.

Beate Lohmann has been a long-standing and reliable employee at ZES ZIMMER. She is responsible for order and service processing (Europe).

Janina Jordan is a former apprentice as an industrial clerk at ZES ZIMMER. Since the beginning of 2025, we have had the pleasure of welcoming her as a full-time employee and clerk in order processing and import/export for our international customers and business partners.

Slawomir Tyrna is a trained machining technician who retrained as an industrial clerk and is now an important commercial clerk in our technical purchasing department.

We currently offer apprenticeships in the industrial sector for the following professions:

  • Electronics Technician for Devices and Systems: Learn how (our) measuring devices and systems are designed and manufactured for various applications, how they are repaired using fault analysis, how assemblies are manufactured and adapted at the component level, and how components are assembled.
  • Industrial Clerk: Learn how purchasing and sales processes are handled, how to establish business relationships with customers and suppliers, negotiate delivery and payment terms, and contribute to the organization and coordination of business processes, and much more.

As a developing and manufacturing company in the electronics industry, which faces challenges due to ecological and economic changes but remains exciting as a result, we understand the importance of investing in high-quality training and creating career opportunities for young people. "Young talent secures the future" is often said, and rightfully so, by training companies. Well-trained specialists ensure sustainable competence and growth. At first glance, this may seem like a significant responsibility placed on young people's shoulders. At ZES ZIMMER, we don't want to neglect and intend to highlight and appreciate the students by offering them great opportunities to develop their interests, talents, and affinities through our apprenticeship programs.

In our company training, where the fundamentals and skills of each profession are taught in parallel with vocational school, we not only sign an apprenticeship contract with each trainee ("Azubi" in German). We also make a promise to provide the best possible support and impart both theoretical and practical knowledge to foster each individual's talents and abilities, ultimately guiding them to success in their training. And of course, we make sure that fun is not forgotten!

"The 'Electronic Systems' in our company name likely creates a highly technology-oriented impression, which is largely true. Technology enthusiasts will be thrilled, while those interested in business might initially find it less exciting. However, since we develop and manufacture our products in-house and distribute them worldwide, we offer a wide range of career paths in production, sales, purchasing, development, administration, marketing, and more. This also enables many opportunities for involvement and diverse insights, not only into other departments and work processes within the company but also into our internationally operating business world.

Last year, we proudly congratulated two apprentices on successfully completing their training as an industrial clerk and an electronics technician for devices and systems, both of whom we retained as full-time employees. Additionally, we welcomed two new apprentices in electronics for devices and systems within our production department. Our current apprentices include:

  • Two apprentices for electronics technician for devices and systems in their first year
  • Two apprentices for electronics technician for devices and systems in their second year
  • One apprentice for industrial clerk in the second year

We look forward to further growth and are already looking forward to our participation in the next Oberursel Apprenticeship Exhibition in 2026. Ideally, we will be able to welcome new apprentices by then!
