Technical Product Training for our Thai Distributor Electronics Solution
Last week, our employees Sahar Tahzibi (Business Development Manager) and Patrick Fuchs (Head of Business Development) visited our Thai distributor, Electronics Solution, at their headquarters in Pathum Thani, Thailand, to conduct a technical training session. This session focused on both the principles of electrical power measurement and an in-depth introduction to our LMG600 power analyzers and associated peripherals.
At ZES ZIMMER, we are committed to ensuring that our customers and the industry interested in our measurement technology receive competent and timely support and information on-site, whether product introduction, application support, troubleshooting or maintenance. We deeply value our distribution partners who share the same philosophy. It was both a pleasure and a natural step for us to provide the enthusiastic sales team of Electronics Solution with fundamental and advanced knowledge about the applications and expertise surrounding our LMG600 series, particularly the LMG671 Power Analyzer.
Over the course of two days, we enhanced knowledge in both theoretical and practical aspects, covering topics such as:
- Fundamentals of (digital) power measurement
- Connecting measurement objects
- Configuring the LMG671
- Plausibility checks and avoiding systematic measurement errors
- Analyzing the electrical power frequency spectrum with DualPath
- Deep dives into analysis tools like transient triggering, harmonic analysis, scope functionality, and more
- Advanced functionalities such as the script editor, custom menus, Plug’n’Measure, and more
We greatly appreciated the focused participation over the two days and look forward to further training sessions to build on this foundation.
Building on the training, we also focused on the operational and strategic planning of our business activities for the coming year, aiming to optimize access to our technology and its application support for our customers and, more broadly, for research and industry in Thailand. Thailand is well-known as an important hub for electronics manufacturing, home to more than 2,700 medium-sized production companies. These companies are increasingly confronted with growing demands for power measurement equipment, which plays a critical role in quality-assurance testing, verification processes, and end-of-line inspections.
Additionally, as part of the " Thai-German Cooperation on Energy, Mobility and Climate" project, funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and the International Climate Initiative, Thailand is advancing its energy transition efforts, focusing on renewable energy and energy efficiency. In line with our mission and vision, we aim to support the industry by providing optimized access to and utilization of our measurement devices, helping to address metrological challenges and paving the way for the energy transition.
Together with our partner, we are working on expanding local service capabilities, on-site evaluation options for our power measurement devices, and building connections with the research and industrial sectors in the region.
The experience wasn’t all work. There was also room for informal and non-business interactions in a pleasant atmosphere. It was a great joy to further strengthen our relationship with the ES team and exchange knowledge. We sincerely thank them for their hospitality and the wonderful time spent together, and we are already looking forward to our next visit next year!
